Thank you for visiting my web site and blog. About ten plus years ago I found old photo's and wondered who these people were, where did they come from, who do they look like and how
am I related. I have been hooked ever since.
When I stand at the grave of a family member that passed away over 100 years before it is so surreal. Standing before a memory I never met, sparks additional desire to discover more about who I am and where I came from.
I have found so many interesting facts about Mike's and my family history. We have discovered Presidents, Knight Templar's, poets, murders, murder victims, artists, musicians, royalty, soldiers and so many more. So many family members that died so young, women that died in child birth, many young and old soldiers in POW camps. I have found photo's, articles, letters and relatives I would have never had the chance to meet. I didn't enjoy history in school and would have never pictured me wanting to find out these stories....although my memory isn't like it used to be, I will document and continue to add to my web site in order to help the ones that come after me that just have to know about our past!
